Information regarding the supplementary placement exams for graduate programs for the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year is provided in the attachment.
When attending the oral and written exams for the Master’s, Doctoral, and Integrated Doctoral Programs, candidates must bring their identification as well as the other required documents listed below.
COMPUTER-BASED ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM
Candidates taking the exam for the Doctoral Program must bring printed copies of their undergraduate/master’s transcripts, portfolio, resume, statement of purpose, and reference letter (signed and in a sealed envelope) with them and submit them before the written exam.
BUILDING RESEARCH AND PLANNING PROGRAM
Candidates applying to the Doctoral and Integrated Doctoral Programs must bring printed copies of their resume, statement of purpose, letter of recommendation, and portfolio with them.
HOUSING PRODUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
: Candidates taking the Master’s written exam must submit their resumes and transcripts at the end of the exam.
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN PROGRAM
: Applicants taking the oral exam for the Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. Programs must bring printed copies of their master’s theses, statements of purpose, portfolios, and resumes.
HISTORY AND THEORY OF ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM
Candidates taking written exams for the Master’s, Doctoral, and Integrated Doctoral Programs must bring printed copies of their resumes and letters of intent with them.
SURVEYING AND RESTORATION PROGRAM
: Candidates taking the exam for the Master’s Program must bring their portfolio, resume, letter of recommendation, and a statement of purpose briefly outlining the topic of the Master’s thesis they plan to pursue; Candidates taking the oral exam for the Doctoral and Integrated Doctoral Programs must bring a portfolio, a resume, a Master’s transcript, a letter of recommendation, and a statement of purpose indicating the doctoral thesis topic they plan to pursue along with the faculty member they intend to work with, in printed form.
Candidates taking the written exam for the YAPI PROGRAM
Master’s Program will submit their resumes and transcripts at the end of the exam. Candidates taking the exam for the Doctoral and Integrated Doctoral Programs must bring printed copies of their portfolio, resume, undergraduate and master’s transcripts, and, if available, a letter of recommendation.
