ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE DOCTORAL QUALIFYING WRITTEN EXAMINATION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE
The Ph.D. Qualifying Written Exam, which will be taken by students enrolled in the Ph.D. programs offered by the Department of Architecture, will be administered jointly by the Department of Architecture for all programs.
Written exam date: Monday, November 23, 2026, 9:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m., Room D-204
Exam Procedures
1. Students will answer a total of five (5) questions from among those included in the exam.
2. At least three (3) of the five (5) questions to be answered must pertain to courses offered within the student’s registered program.
3. At least one (1) of the five (5) questions to be answered must be from a course offered at the doctoral level.
4. The exam duration is 120 (one hundred twenty) minutes.
5. Students’ answers will be evaluated by the faculty member responsible for the relevant course.
6. Students must have their student ID cards and a valid form of identification (Turkish ID card, passport, or driver’s license) with them when taking the exam.
